Illustration of Repaemina and Zaenumia facing each other from opposite corners of a chart of an unknown solar system. Repaemina is depicted as the sun, and Zaenumia as one of the planets. Near Zaeunimia is a table showing the phases of a moon, and near Repaemina is a table showing the life cycle of a star. Constellations are sprinkled across the background.

Polarity

In Aesungaian folklore, Repaemina is often depicted as the sun, and Zaenumia as all of the shadows cast by the sun. In some stories, Zaenumia is depicted instead as the planet, or a moon, or the darkness that hides the sun at night.

Zaenumia was said to have repeatedly insisted that this was 'not how the sky works'. Repaemina, on the other hand, was said to have laughed and replied 'no, no, they've got it right'.
