That new hunter is kinda weird, they keep meowing at the palicoes and trying to eat the scoutflies...

I've been slowly making my way through Monster Hunter Wilds lately. It's a good game, and I like it, but the ratio of cutscenes to gameplay is pretty rough. It feels like with each new Monster Hunter game, they dip their toes a little further into the waters of "Actually Having A Plot", and to be fair they are getting better at it every time, but in my opinion Monster Hunter Wilds's story isn't quite good enough to justify the amount of space it takes up.

Anyway, Whenever Myrrh talks to someone, her words are heard in the language of whoever she's speaking to. So, if she were to visit the world of Monster Hunter and try to talk to a palico, it would look like she was just meowing at them like a weirdo, but it's actually a real conversation.

the same doodle as before, but their meows have been translated. Myrrh asks 'Hey do you know where they hid the item loadout menu in this one? I can't find it.' The palico replies: 'what the fuck?'
