drawing of a bunch of bugs watching a cat-eared UFO taking off in the middle of the night, with tiny Myrrh silhouetted against the glass of the cockpit. The lady beetle is crying as it watches the ship leave.

Three weeks after having their demands met, the weird new bug disappeared into the night, leaving the rest of the garden short one translator, negotiator, and friend. Though the bugs could no longer communicate with each other, they continued to live in harmony for the rest of their time together.

The sugar water, cookies, and 6-foot hoagie they won in the negotiations kept the bugs in your garden fed for generations, and they lived peacefully and happily, though from that point on they seemed to spend a lot more time with their heads turned toward the sky.
